Good luck
your gonna have to dig a bit deeper into them pockets mister
you gave me enough for a decent set of subs in an enclosure... thats it so far.
You can find a woofer and a amp for that maybe on ebay. But what your asking for you need about 600 dollars, around that range. For a decent pair of subs n amp. But good luck :)
If you want all those things than head on over to the local wal mart and get a lousy, cheap system. For like $120, go on ebay and get a pair of Kicker CompVR's 12" inches. Those subs rock and aren't very expensive for 2. Now an amp for them is a bit more pricey so look around like www.crutchfield.com or www.onlinecarstereo.com.
Goo luck.
Memphis Mach 2's are great... you'll need a 2ohm amp to go with them but they're a bit pricey... especially if you stick with memphis... when i first started out i went with two sony 12's and a sony 1200 watt amp... all for about 300 at your local walmart... it sounds pretty decent but it takes time and money to get a great system... you will also need enclosures or an enclosure for your speakers... you could go the way i've always gone and build it yourself...
Just buy a nice set of woofers and get a custom enclosure built by someone for now...save up for a nice amp to power the subs too...

I am installing a cd player in my Ford ranger and can't get it to keep its memory? what do i do?
[Question]
The cd player will power on and play but once i turn off the vehicle it does not keep its memory. I have all wires hooked up correctly. This is a pain because I can't set clock, presets, custom audio, etc. I had this problem before and had to run two wire to the same wire so that it would keep its memory but I then had to manually turn off the system because it wouldn't turn off with the vehicle. Any solutions?
[All Answers]
you have two options, 1 they make kits that have like a mini capacitor in it and all you have to do is find the one for your truck, or you can just splice the power wire with something that is getting constant power. the downside of splicing it, is that you have to manually turn off the radio or it will drain your battery, but on the plus side, you can turn your radio on without having the car on.
You may have to run a wire to your fuse box to get battery power or constant on power. Use a voltmeter to check the fuse box for a constant power source.
usually when this happen its because you have the constant power (yellow) and the ignition power (red) hooked up wrong. are you using the harness or are you just cutting of the harness and just replacing with the new stereo harness? email me and i'll help you out with it.
If you have it wired correctly to the factory wiring then you have a blown fuse for the memory circuit. The fuse for this circuit is not marked as a radio fuse in the fuse box. It will most likely be tied in with either the cigarette lighter or dome light fuse. Start by checking those and all other fuses.

Would a Kicker 750.1 amp work with 2 Alpine Type-R 4 ohm subs?
[Question]
[All Answers]
you should go with the 1000.1 cause for one type r it's 500 rms since your gonna have 2 it's gonna be 1000 rms
it would work, but it would be unstable because you would need the dual 2 0hm subs and the subs would be underpowered. But its your decision i would definantly go with a bigger amp like robert said
Robert and Nick are right. Go with a bigger amp. Your going to have those subs poppin man!

Would a car amp improve my 4 speaker system installed right now?
[Question]
I have a 4 speaker system in my car now. And i don't know if it will actually make anything better.
2 - 5 1/4 in the front with 50 Watt RMS, 200 Watt max
2 - 6 x 9 in the back with 150 Watts RMS Power, 550 Max
I don't know a lot about car audio so if you need more info just ask. And try and make the answer as user friendly as possible =] Thanks.

Amplifiers ALWAYS make ANY speaker sound better and are completely nessecary on after market speakers
An amp would make any speakers sound better. There's alot of amps out there. you can go and visit www.crutchfield.com and check out all those different amps :) good luck!
Amps bae not necessay, but yes they will make any speaker sound better. When you are looking for the watage of any kind of speaker never payy any attention to the max, it means nothing. Do not bother with cutchfield unless you want to pay more for something than you should be, worse than your local audio shops. Try onlinecarstereo andd woofersetc.

what are some good amps that push atleast 1000 watts rms?
[Question]
im getting 2 12 inch alpine type r's and i cant really decide on an amp. rite now im looking at the alpine mrp1000 and the fosgate power 1000, but i cant decide which one or any other amps would you go with. please list a good prand not anything like power acoustic and crunch or anything like that
[All Answers]
you could go with kicker, mtx, jl audio
Alpine PDX-1.1000 or the MRP-1000 are both good choices. I would pick the PDX over the MRP because it's much more efficient. You could also look at the Kenwood KAC-9104D. The Rockford may be a bit too much as they are actually the only brand that is under rated and will ultimately put out a little more than the rated 1000 watts RMS.
