Anyone know what kind of music it is that people play really loud in cars and its like kinda vibrating?
[Question]
and could you please list some of those songs
[All Answers]
anything hip hop, a lot of the "dirty south" crap that has heavy bass lines... you have to have some powerful amps and speakers and such
It's rap mostly.
anyting with a beat... but usually rap
The Cool Kids - Black Mags <--- Super Sick Bass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
most likely hiphop, rap, gangsta rap, techno, dance music most of these tunes you get some real cool heavy bass vibrating tunes which people play when they have a good system where you want to hear and feel a nice bass with.
Celine Dion
The Bass in her music is sick it got so much bass there is no duff duff that even comes close
most duff duff is around 135 db
Celine Dion has registered as high as 146.7 in mu Cars

what kind of amp do i need and how to wire subs?
[Question]
i have 1 subs a pyle red label 12" sqaure 1000w rms and 1400 peak and a pioneer 400 watt peak 150w rms
the pyle is a dual voice coil
how many watts should my amp be and how do i wire this?
[All Answers]
get at least a 1000 wat amp just be on the safe side i had 2 15'' in my tahoe and i hade a 2000watt amp it really depends on how much bass u want and if u cant wire it go to a shop or go to one of ur friends who can do it
http://guideforyou.server.or.id
A very informative website you can also get much information in website
The type of amp you buy kind of depends on how you wire the subs. You can wire them in "series" or "parallel" configurations. You can easily find wiring diagrams on google. Just be carefull if you end up wiring it to a 1 ohm load because a lot of amps have problems with that. A 1000 watt would probably be good. I would recommend just running the pyle by itself first to see how it sounds.
well i agree that a 1000 watt is the best bet. i have 2 12" in my durango. as far as hooking up if you think you can wire it you can get a decent kit at best buy or a local car audio store. in a nutshell you run a main wire from the battery to your subs and a ground wire to some metal on the outside of your car. the best place for the ground is frame of the car. if you have any doubts as to how to hook it up a local car audio shop would probably do it for cheap. if you dont have a car audio shop nearby try best buy, they generally have people for the purpose of car audio and electronics and do a good job. it will take time, probably three to four hours at best buy or about 2 hours or so if you can do it yourself. hope this helps and good luck.

Use small subs for my speakers?
[Question]
im not a car audio expert but i was wonderin if i can replace my door speakers and the speakers by the back window with small subs becuz i have a sub rite now but my speakers are weak and they have no bass but my trunk has a good knock
[All Answers]
Not a good idea unless you're gonna make custom kick pods and run midbass through them, then a separate component set for your highs
those are your mids and highs, you dont want those to be super bass filled or else you can't hear the music just vibrations hah.
but no subs would fit there, unless you get some over-the-top custom subs made, which is pointless.
Subs are designed to play low frequencies. If you try to play midbass of higher frequencies it will not harm the sub but it will sound bad. Many of those frequencies will simply be filtered out by the inductance of the voice coil in the sub. You will be left with very poor sound quality from your subs.
Good Luck!!!
ive always liked the idea of having custom kick panel enclosures, my audio guy said you dont want the soundstage that low, i run components up front and killed my rear stound stage all together except for my 2 10" boston g2's, but you can tell where the bass is coming from with the frequency. theres alot into timing the front tweeters as well, so no matter what you do, you need to get into the car audio forums and speciffacly figure out what your trying to accomplish

Is there a way of knowing if someone is listening to music in the car?
[Question]
I'm about to start driving soon, and my boyfriend thinks that I shouldn't listen to music while driving for the first three months of driving.
And he said he knows several ways of knowing if I've listened to my radio while driving.. And none of them have anything to do with bugging my car.. So is that even possible?
Is there a way of knowing if someone was listening to the radio while driving?
And please, no speeches on how I need to take every precaution I can while learning to drive.. I already know HOW to drive, I just don't have my license yet.
Or someone who has been in this situation before would be good too.
I'm looking for educated answers.. So far everything's good.
But maybe someone who specializes in radios and such?
[All Answers]
First off, your boyfriend is way too protective haha that's ridiculous. There's no way to tell if you've been listening to the radio, just make sure when you get out of the car, you make sure the volume is at what it was when you got in there and that it's on the same station, there's no way to tell if you've been doin that.
Only way they can really know is if they are driving next to you and can hear it really. Unless he has a camera in the car
try and make sure ur radio is on the same station with the same volume when u get out of ur car...try and do it every time..try and make it a routine...so this way...every time he gets in..it will be the same station, and volume ...
Well the first thing I did was put in a custom stereo and rocked out to Disturbed when I got my permit. Your bf is being a bit too cautious. But anyway. Just make sure that, like other answerers have stated, that you leave it on the same station and volume. If it's off when you first start the car, leave it off or turn it off when you're done driving.
