A very informative website you can also get much information in website
I would use the 2x600 @ 2 ohms. Adjust your amplifier accordingly: turn your head unit to about 3/4 volume, then adjust volume on your amplifier until you hear distortion, set the volume just before you hear this distortion. This will set you up very nicely I believe!
Hope this helps!
it depends if your subs are dvc or svc. You might also want to look at their RMS output, I think the subs should handle around 400 watts RMS, So it just depends on your amp, Look up its specs and go from there.......Let me know if you have any doubts.
Since you have 2 ohm CVR's you can't run them at 2 ohms(Ohm's law won't allow you to run them like that) you can run them at 4 ohms or 1 ohm each or 2 ohms if you run them on the same channel to run them at 1 ohm and have the amp bridged you need to wire each sub in parallel and wire the 2 remaining voice coils in series if you need more help go to www.the12volt.com
i would do the 600 x 2 at 2ohms that will work best

yea i plan on getting a better amp. i just got this shyt for free so i want to make it as good as it can get

nah go bigger u can never have too much bass especially if u want to get some bump
KOBE!!!!
it will work fine... but if you want it at best get a bigger amp rated for the subs power rating.. try an ma-audio hk-1398
i've had alot of subs and amps all the way from apline, kicker L7s and pioneer impps and explod. but the bottom line is that when i had my kicker L7 it said that it took 600 watts rms and so everybody was like go and buy a amp that is rated at 600 rms so i got a kicker amp that was rated at 600 rms and had it load to 2 ohms but me i like to play it loud and i blow that sub up were it was smoking lol so with my experiance that amp and those subs will do just right. if u have a good deck with a strong out put signal its perfect bro. good luck.
They will work fine together. Just keep the ohms at 4 because if you go to 2, it will run much hotter and "clip" out more and eventually burn up.
It's more important to have the propper enclosure for your subs...that maks ALL the difference!
It should work fine, but you should look into Alpine type-r's.

car amplifier and sub humming problem?
[Question]
does any 1 know y my amplifier and sub i start the car and the engine sound comes through the sub i have a complete wirining kit i have tried directly earthing it to battery and it still does the sound of the engine its for a car thanks
[All Answers]
I pretty sure your picking up interference through either your RCA's or your remote wire, if that's the case just run your RCA's and your remote wire down to opposite side of the car as your main power wire and that should take care of. hope thins helps.
sounds like you ran your power wire, remote wire and your rca together
re-run them and spreed them apart if they have to cross try to do it like a plus sign + that way its minimal touching
other than that try a better ground sant the paint to bear metal
If it is a four channel amp. they are known to make that noise, make sure you have a good ground from the battery to the metal and make sure you have a ground from the stereo to the metal, also check your rc wires make sure they are good. One other thing make sure your amp is not directly touching metal. This is all the things that i know that could cause that noise i have had this problem previously hope this helps.

How can I remove sand from my car speakers without damaging them?
[Question]
[All Answers]
Vacuum cleaner
forced air from a compressor
remove the outer grill and use a shopvac with a brush duster attachment....should take care of all the sand.....how did you get sand in your speakers to begin with? :)
how the fudge do you get sand in your speakers buddy! lol, well i'd use a microfiber cloth, and a spray tube of Isopropyl alcohol,SPRAY CLOTH FIRST, then apply on the sanded areas. This should attract every little piece of sand without damaging your speakers

Sound system for 2008 Dodge Charger?
[Question]
I need the exact brand name and componenents of the best sound equipment for a great audio system. I heard brands like Kicker, Alpine, Infinity, and Pioneer were good. Please include everything from a wires and even a remote if it is necessary. I am willing to spend up to $1000 with installation included. Thanks
[All Answers]
Kicker L7's are great subwoofers i have 1 kicker L7 12" and it pounds, i run one sub and a 1500 watt amp, its an off brand but i recomend 1000watt kicker amp and 12" L7
i would go with a pioneer system and kicker woofers that would be kickass
I got a bangin system in my Dodge Dakota pickup smallcab.
Here's what I did:
--Kicker speakers (2 reg. backseat and 2 front 5 inch and 2 tweeters)
...now you can buy this year's model for around $700 for all those or you can shop around online and some specialty auto stores and find some from like 2-4 years ago for a third that so that puts us up to about $250
-Sony Xplod dual 12" Subs
..These babys thump hard. They come in at 2000 combined total peak watts...That's a LOT! They're about $200 or $150 for last years model (essentially the exact same thing)
-Kicker 250 amp
...This powers those subs and this is not a cheap piece of equipment. Difficult to find previous year's models but you can. Generally a 2009 model will run you $250
Finally, I went with a standard Sony Xplod head unit which makes a night or day difference. A head unit gives you full control over all the levels at which you set your individual speakers as well as your key to the system, the sub level (gotta make sure you dont blow it)
This ran me a smooth $120
Instal will be around 100 bucks plus you'll have to buy some wiring and stuff too and if you purchase any warantees on that stuff from the manufacturer (which is a real good idea bc speakers are always fragile)
So all that added up you can definately do what I did with slightly older but still new models. My opinion, is that's the best way to do it.
Total Cost<1000
