maybe because there is a cd already in the slot?
take it to a mechanic
try
Sounds like a malfunction. You need to get it replaced or repaired.
Sounds like the tray of the CD is out of adjustment. Since the car is out of warranty (I assume) then you might look into aftermarket radios.
Why don't you ask the CD player
its burnt out it happens
Because it don't like your music????
It's broken
Just keep hitting eject a few times before putting the disk back in.

I need help about what to talk about in a radio show?
[Question]
I am volunteering at the local hospital radio station, and it all seemed fairly simple until, in part of my training, I was given a 1/2 hour show to do(no one could hear, just the instructor!) on my own.
I thought, well this seems simple. It wasn't.
I'm back there on Sunday and I need advice on what to talk about - websites about general rubbish like soaps or something.
And any advice on how to sound relaxed and calm when you're just starting would be appreciated too!
[All Answers]
Being that is hosted in a hospital, why not talk about health issues.
Issues such as the dangers of certain foods and additives; especially fluoride in water, medications and toothpaste. Fluoride has no beneficial effects on the strength or preservation of teeth or gums, contrarily it can cause mouth, bowl and other cancers, dementia etc.
Go to Youtube and search fluoride, you will find medical professionals keying in on the harmful effects.
Stuff like that actually benefits the listeners.
Good luck!
H2H
Maybe issues with local public transport? Or disruption caused by the snow (if you are in the uk)? Keep it light though, try and make it comical if possible and try to cheer up the listeners.
Be polite, intoduce yourself, tell everyone you hope they're doing well, arrive early and see if you can speak to a few patients, specially kids and do a few requests or shout outs, and remember to thank all the staff for their hard work and commitment at the end of your slot.
hope some of this helps
I'm sure you have one of your own subjects that really gets you going. Research some points on that subject and get ready to go through each point one at a time. Cite your sources. It's kind of like doing an editorial or research paper orally.
And exactly what has your question got to do with "Car Audio"?

HELP TRYING 2 INSTALL SPEAKERS?
[Question]
So i was trying to install a new speaker into a 1996 dodge ram 1500..well i installed it but as i was trying to figure out which wires go into which one, none of the speakers worked anymore...but the radio is working fine and yes there is volume on. i checked the balance on the radio and its going to all the speakers but there is no voice coming out. some1 plz help me..
p.s. all i hear is a buss sound coming out of the speakers
[All Answers]
you wired it wrong
simple as that
Sounds like you have a grounded out speaker. This is when one or more speaker wires or speaker terminals is touching ground (metal). This sometimes depending on what type of radio you have can cause the radio to go into protection and will look like it is working fine but no sound from some or all speakers.
The best way to find out the problem is to use a multimeter at the back of the radio. If you don't have one then remove both of the new speakers that you installed. Make sure that none of the wires are touching each other or metal. If you have more than 2 speakers in the truck that were working prior to the install, turn on the radio and see if they work. If they do, then install one speaker, and check to see if it works, then the other.
Hope this helps!
you wired it way wrong remember alike colors go together

Can i hook up 2 kicker 15" subwoofers DVC 2 Ohm's. to a 1 channel amp? help please all help appreciated?
[Question]
hi i have 2 Kicker 07CVR152 - Kicker 15" 1000 Watt 2 Ohm DVC CompVR Subwoofers and i have 1 Hifonics BXi1608D - Hifonics 1600W 1-Channel Amplifier i was wondering since the 2 subs need 500 watts rms and about 1,000 peak... and this amp will give 1100-1600 watts of power i was wondering if i just tied the end of the speaker wires up and hooked both subs up in the one chanel if they would split 550 watts between both subs which would be the 1100 watts the amp gives?
so would this work or would i HAVE to buy a 2 channel amplifier? if this is possible id like to know thanks everyone for your help :)

Refer to this website
http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=22
remember the more less ohm you draw from the amp the more power you will give to the subs
scroll down to see your options
top 1/3 of page to the right you can change your set up
it will work it's a class d amplifier which means it will equal out the ohms and the power will be equal..the only thing i'm concerned about is the dvc 2ohm subs you should have bought the dvc 4ohm subs cause when you drop the ohms on those 2ohm subs the amp will have a 0.5 ohm load on it and that amp isn't 0.5 ohm stable probably 1ohm stable you'ed have to wire them in a series instead of parallel cause it'll drop the ohms to low!!
If you series wire both subs, and then parallel them it would give you a 2 ohm load. The specs for that amp say it will put out 1100 watts total power, so each sub would get 550 watts RMS.
In the second link below, you want the second option, 2 ohm load diagram.
