probly not pluggeded in or you put them to loud
Yeah, you might not have them plugged in or maybe they're just broken. We need more information to tell you what's wrong.
1. Take your earplugs out.
2. Turn down your stereo in the other room.
3. Turn them on.
4. Plug them in.
5. The power plug to them has fried.
check the wires.
check your volume controls.
reboot?
check your sound driver?
or you might just need new ones, unfortunately

Is there a way to listen to music in my car before I get my radio installed?
[Question]
I just bought a new car yesterday but it does not have a stereo yet, and I won't be able to get one installed for a couple weeks. I'm not up with the gadgets, so I was wondering if there was any way for me to listen to music before I get my radio installed? (I.e. is there anything I can buy that's fairly inexpensive that would maybe plug into my 12V outlet)? Thanks!
I have an ipod shuffle someone gave me that they no longer used, but I have never used it myself! Is there any inexpensive connection I could buy to plug this into my cigarette lighter?
[All Answers]
You could get a cheap mp3 player with a car charger or a cheap GPS that plays videos/music, but if your going for lowest price i would just get an mp3 player with 1 of those additional speaker plugins they have now you can get it at walmart in the mp3 accessories.
Are you in the UK?
If so, go to Maplin electronics which is on every high-street. If not in the UK then any regular electrical store.
They will give you a cheap radio which plugs in to the cigarette lighter as a quick fix solution.
If you have a battery powered boom box just throw that in the car for now...

Can a 2005 Ford focus play Mp3 players/iPods?
[Question]
I have a 2005 ford focus hatchback. And I want to know if it is iPod/mp3 compatible. And if it is how do I plug up my iPod?
[All Answers]
Depends what was installed when you order it. Standard radio and cd comes standard . If you bought the option for better one your ok. Go to apple store and they have conversions kits or go on line and ask them
There should be an plug in on front of the radio.Buy a patch cord from walmart or target. Im not sure but I thought the newer focus had its own mp3 download system?(the radio is a mp3)
You'd be lucky if that thing can even play CD's

Good car speakers for listeners of heavy metal?
[Question]
Im looking to upgrade the sound system in my 05 xterra. I listen to heavy metal and country so dont need tons of bass. A friend of mine said going with a 10 inch sub would be best cause they hit faster? whats the best brand of 6 1/2 and 6X9s. i know my bose home speakers rule, but how are their auto speaker? I want people next to me to be absolutely annoyed when they pull up next to me and they hear cannibal corpse.
[All Answers]
NOTE: this is honestly one of the best systems...and it WILL BE custom when you're done....
get 7 composites....and DONT go for the oval ones....because the ROUND composites don't blow as easy and they give better quality at high volumes.....
i would recommend Kenwood...because i have em' and get one for each door....and 3 in the space under your rear seats....for your trunk....i would recommend 2 SPX audio....MTX Jackhammer...Bazooka....or Pheonix Gold 10 inch subs.....
I listen to heavy metal... And it rocks!
This is my system:
Pioneer head unit: AVH-P4100DVD
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/Source/AV-Receivers/AVH-P4100DVD
Fronts and Rears: Polk DBs 6 1/2 components
http://www.polkaudio.com
1 Audiobahn 12" Subwoofer in a sealed box.
http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=1885
Audiobahn amp for the sub only = http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=4151
Audiobahn amp for the speakers only = http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=4154
Go for Boston Acoustic products.
They are one of the best companies on the market.
Go for the 2 10" G5s in a sealed box. (if you want cheaper go g2)
and get some speakers by them - whatever is in your price range.. It'll sound really good.

Help with Kenwood KDC-MP228?
[Question]
Can anyone please explain to me what the "ATT" mode is for? And because this head unit has no aux port i purchased a split cable that plugs into the back of the stereo and then into the headphone jack of my ipod. When i do this the music on the ipod comes through but along with the radio music and very low. and only rear speakers. Can someone please give me a link to the type of cable i should purchase? or troubleshooting tips, ty
[All Answers]
Hi, if you want to get more information about it, go to http://auto-designes.synthasite.com/?q=Kenwood
I'm not sure what ATT stands for, but usually when you have it up to lets just say 30 volume, and you push ATT, it'll cut the volume down halfway to 15. Got it on 60, it'll turn it down to 30.
The reason it's playing both is because you just spliced the wires and connected them together. It's still got a full circulation through your wires, so they will play over each other. Try putting it in "CD Player" but with no CD, then play your iPod.
To trouble shoot, you wanna try and get it where no music is coming out before you start your iPod.
