Two Kicker l7's 12" easy ten points!?
[Question]
Should I wire these babies up to a Kicker ZX1500.1?
[All Answers]
yea it would be good
Yes. Each L7 is 750rms. So both would give you 1500rms.If you have the DVC 2ohm you can wire them to get the 1500x1@2ohm that the amp is stable at. This is how you would do it.

Which version of L7 did you get, the dual 2-ohm or the dual 4-ohm? For the dual 2-ohm coils, that amp is perfect for them. For the dual 4-ohm coils, you need a different amp.
It will work just parallel your subwoofer and it drop the ohm down to get the most out of your subwoofer, then if you want you could upgrade to the kicker zx2500.1

car audio: why battery dying?
[Question]
i have a 600 watt kenwood amp installed in my car and i cant run it longer then 15 mins parked car off the battery dies........any ideas on how i can improve this or may there be something worng??
thanx
[All Answers]
add another battery just for the amp alone
I had the same problem you are having. It is just best to leave your car on while using and amplifier. I went through a battery and then people started telling me to get a capacitor and then other people told me to buy another battery, and that will work, but it just means that it will die (in your scenario 30 min instead of 15).
The best thing to do is let your car on despite the gas price that you have to pay. The alternator is meant to run a n amp, not the Battery itself.
Get a kinetic battery. I put one in my car and I can go 30-45 min listening to the music at medium levels without the car running. A regular car battery would die with in a few minutes.

what gauge wire should i use for a 400 watt amp?
[Question]
the amp im thinkin of getting is the Boss Audio CX350 ... 4 or 8 gauge wire?
[All Answers]
about it you can find information from the following website
http://bestcar-audiosystems.blogspot.com/
8 guage for sure
Either one would be ok, but the 4 gauge will give you a better connectivity. I have an 500 watt amp hooked up to 4 gauge and i was highly recommended to use 4 gauge on an amp 400 or higher. This goes for the ground and battery wire, they must be the same. Good Luck

how would i power two speakers and a head unit without a car?
[Question]
i am putting it on my bike and i was wondering how i would do that. Somebody please tell me how i could do that easy
[All Answers]
you would need a 12volt power supply it converts 110 ac which is power from your house to 12 dc which is power that your car uses to operate computers and radios in your car
you will need a power supply that will handle at least 10 amps witch is average for after market radios
HAHAHAHA (oh man, hilarious visual!) car or motercycle battery and wiring knowledge. you need to run your power to a positive terminal on the battery and the ground to the negative terminal. Then you need a remote switch to turn the deck on, then you need to connect your speakers to the deck. You'll need to charge the battery so you'll need a battery charger so you can charge it at night... lol.

Need help. my amp negative cord keeps burning up?
[Question]
I have a JL audio 1000/1 monoblock amp with a 12'' JL audio w7 sub. for some reason my negative cord coming from me capacitor is burning up when it is connected to my amp and is smoking. ? it just started to do this. so nothing is working. can u help me?
[All Answers]
normally the positive cord is the one that need a fuse but u can try one on the negative one.
Wow u need to take that to a proffessional...obviously something is not hooked up right....i dont have a capacitor so i couldn ttell u on that one...They are not worth the money anyway...Sounds like u are burning something up....maybe the wires are too thin.... what gauge wires are u using....
Make sure you have a good ground. If it is mounted to the body all paint should be removed and it should be tight. You can try relocating the ground also. There is a chance that the amp is fried.
