i think that car has 6 by 9's in the back and 4in in the front and most subs would fit in the trunk.

Go to Crutchfield.com and put what type of car it is on the website and it will tell you if it fits or if you have to modify it to make it fit. It's a great website I highly recommend it.

www.crutchfield.com Has an online tool you can use, you enter in your car's year make and model and it will tell you what size radios will fit in your car. Then you can just use that to make sure the radio your purchasing will fit.



Some radios are not direct fit in some older cars, you can usually find a kit to make any radio fit in any car. The Crutchfield site has all kinds of car audio accessories.

windows wont roll up because your battery is dead and your radio wont turn on cause the wiring got a little screwy. dont panic just take it to the mechanics and have them check it out, you'll be fine. goodluck

hmm, replace fuses as a quick double check but based on what you said, sounds like the ignition module is not activating the aux circuit when you turn the key. Try turning the key backward to the aux only setting and see if they work then.

trial and error is always what you have to do with this kind of thing. try switching fuses, even if they look okay, with ones you know are working.



you might also find a short circuit, that cuts the power if too many things are on at once. my car recently had a problem with the lights and radio, where the fuses and voltage seemed perfect, but we found a short in the battery cable which meant that the power was draining too quickly when the engine, heater, lights and radio were on.



you might also be very unlucky, where the window motors and radio have blown - although for a car only 10 years old that sounds unlikely.

It depends what kind of jeep it is. I have a scout with no top, its almost impossible to get good bass out of it because all of it escapes out the top. I would suggest kickers or alpine type r, with a crossfire amp.

try one 12 or 2 10" memphis and a memphis amp you want the amp out put of the amp to be close to your subs or try MTX series subs and amps

An amp is a unit that powers subwoofers and speakers.



A woofer is a speaker that comes common sizes of 8", 10", 12", 15" and 18".



Subs give you your bass..depending on what sub you get it can either be for a little extra beat or very loud bass.

Sub - Short for subwoofer, a speaker designed to produce sounds usually between 20Hz to about 200Hz. Subwoofers can produce sub-sonic sounds, below what the average person can hear, hince the "sub"woofer.



Tweeter - used to produce sound frequencies generally above 2KHz (anything from speech upwards to sounds that can not be heard by humans at about 20KHz)



Amp - Ampllifier. Used to increase amplitude (how loud the frequency is) of input frequencies and output the adjusted volume to a set of speakers designed to handle the higher load.



Woofer - One step above a SUBwoofer, generally a speaker at about 6" that can produce frequencies between 200Hz and 2kHz to compensate for the lack of frequency coverage between the subwoofer and the tweeter.
