from what u have selected i would go for pioneer.. but if you got a bit of extra cash to play with, i would go for something abit better like JL audio or JVC.. Their performance Subwoofer line is to die for, it would make you the new Sound off king!! But remember, a powerful sub means a powerful amp and amp kit.. Don't go cheap with the wiring as the wiring dictates the output of the amp and sub
i have those pioneers running off a terrible amp and they still smash

Car Question about tape/cd player?
[Question]
Ok. i have a 1196 ford taurus , still has the factory tape player in there. and the way it is designed in an odd oval shape doesent look like it can come out. So i guess what im asking is Can it come out ?
[All Answers]
The stereo head unit is removable, but if you want to put in a aftermarket unit, you will need a faceplate adapter.
By the way that is a valuable antique you have. I did not know that they made cars in the year 1196. (I know it is a typo, just teasing)
Yes it can come out. Just take it to mechanic with the new radio you want and they'll get it in and they should put in a plastic thing that will fill the empty space left over from the new radio.

i have installed my turn on wire into the back of my amp,but dont know where to put it in my head-unit?
[Question]
Its not the factory head unit,Do i have to solder wires together or something im really confused there are no ports in head unit for the remote turn on wire.
[All Answers]
it would be a blue and white wire, otherwise i suggest running it into the yellow wire coming off the back of the cd player. other wise u could run it into the fuse box, twist the wire around the blade of ur ignition fuse and your good to go also
every aftermarket head unit has the blue & white wire coming from the back of the head unit,, its for an electric aerial and amp, so just join it up to that,,
