Yes they can. But i think the person has to be supervised by someone older than 21. or an adult.
No sorry
Yeah, people often hire people for community service. It often is part of the high school curriculum, so I don't see why not. You could even get a job at age 15. Places like Kumon start hiring at 14. Some places in Canada actually require 40 hours of community service to graduate.

Will my subs break out my back window?
[Question]
i am looking at getting two 12" kicker cvx subs. they are 750 watts rms each and 1500 watts rms together. i'll be powering them with the kicker zx1500 mono amp which is 1500 watts. will they break out my back window of my car?
[All Answers]
lol wishful thinking friend, but honestly they wont. your gonna need about 3 times that power to break out you back window
Not even close, keep dreamin
no way dude try n watch the episode of mythbusters where they where testing allsorts maybe youtube will have it ps ul have a very nice rattle tho
I think you will need more on the line of 5000 watts RMS to do that. You will have rattle though. I am about to get 2 12" Kicker L7s that have the same strength as yours. They rattle everything and flex a little.
Not even close - but you could throw them through the window and watch them break if you're that persistent. lol
No but burglers might smash it out for you :P

wow bad idea just go to knukonceptz.com and get there complete 8 gauge amplifier kit its like 35
i really wouldn't try either of those, just the word 'old' worries me...plus it ll need to be long enough to go from the amp to the battery....just buy new wire.
Iv seen it be done on some poor man stereos. Don't know how good of an idea it is though. If a job is worth doing, its worth doing right.
No. If it says you need 8 gauge wire it means you need 8 gauge wire. Using anything else can be dangerous and even cause a fire. Not to mention it will not supply enough power to your amp which will reduce performance.
The problem with household wiring is that it is made for AC, not DC like in a car. The wire is only meant for low amperage. In a vehicle you need a wire that can carry a lot of amps.
If you use a wire that is too small it will melt the outside coating. Eventually you will have some bare wire which can cause a fire. To protect this you would use a fuse inline with the power cord. The fuse will blow before the wire would melt. If you have too small of wire you will need a small fuse and then you will constantly blow your fuse.
I know you are trying to save money but an 8 gauge kit is around $20 for a decent one. Like said before, look at knukonceptz for a good kit. I may even recommend 4 gauge wire if you run the wire any longer then 17 foot or so.
Good Luck!!!
The builder of amps. and subs. worked for hours on end trying to make something work properly and give min. standards for install to prevent trouble. Always remember to keep inside stuff from the outside. Subs, wires, equipment, somethings don't react well to outside conditions. And please never mix AC/DC items, different safety standards for a reason.

Confused over amps and subs.. help!?
[Question]
I'm looking to buy a shallow 12" Kenwood sub (4 ohms, max power 1400W) and I need an amp. I've been told Kicker is a good brand to go with. However, I have no idea what I need to buy to ensure my amp works and nothing is blown out with power problems. If you have any other suggestions for other brands of amp, please tell me, but the ultimate question is, What does my amp need to have W or ohm-wise to handle the sub?
This is the sub: http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/eXcelon/Subwoofers/KFC-XW1200F
This is the page I'm looking at for amps: http://www.crutchfield.com/g_120/Amplifiers.html?search=Kicker+VENDORID206&searchdisplay=Kicker&tp=115
Thank you for your help

If you really just need to know the rms, it says this sub is 350 W rms.
Does this mean a 300 W amp will be good, or should I get 400?
[All Answers]
just go to your local Best Buy and they'll hook you up. theyd probably put it all in and it would maybe be 400 total
max power means nothing
i dont know
cause for some reason their own website doesnt even list the actual power of the sub
idiots..
When you chose an amp, you chose it based on RMS watts not MAX watts.
RMS is the amount of wattage a subwoofer/amp can handle constantly.
Say a sub is 1000 watts RMS, you want your amp to be 80% of that. so 800 watts RMS.
Get us the model number for this sub so we can find RMS and we will be able to tell you an amp.
Good Luck

Please can you find my car radio code?
[Question]
After changing car battery, I need my radio/cd code ( I have kept it in a very safe place!). Be glad if someone can help please. 2004 Mondeo , M0003212. Thank you.

No one here will know your code. I guess it is still in a very safe place, you just don't know where?
The dealership is the only place that can help you, and it may cost $20.
Try 0569
There are two cards with the code in your manual car which is in the glove box, if you can not find them, call the dealer give them your serial number of the stereo, they might ask for the vin number also and the going to provide you with the code, hope this answer your question otherwise you need to take your car to the dealer and pay 100 dls.
