Looks cheap, never heard of the brand, It is cheap..
Disaster.
Find something more heard of.
It does not give a rms wattage ratting, you should find a amp the puts out 500-600 watts rms per channel, or bridged mode. Peak wattage does not mean as much as rms(continuous) wattage. I have the same subs and I am running 560 watts rms and 600 rms on two two channel amps both in bridged mode.
you will be much better off by getting a monoblock amp instead of getting a 2 channel one. it will perform and sound better. the best possible amp you could get to fit those subs is the alpine pdx1.1000. i also have those 2 subs and i have a rockford fosgate t10001bd which goes great with the subs and really pounds them. but if ur looking for something cheaper i would get a hifonics bxi1208d or a hifonics bxi1608d. either one will be pretty nice for the price.
look for rockford amps.. there underrated.. my P300-1 rated at 300 rms puts out over 600rms. or look at US amps on ebay, there good and not a bad price

i have a kicker zx500.1 amp and 12in cvrs should i bridge at 4 ohms ? or 2 ohms what would sound better.?
[Question]
Whats the differnt between 4 ohms and 2 ohs
[All Answers]
4ohms
well what do you mean by sound better... lol in my book loud sounds good to me... but ya if your looking for better SQ (sound Quality Duh) then 4 Ohms but if you want better spl then go 2 ohms... Personally there isnt that much of a difference but if ur ears can spot little details you will notice a bit of change between the two
Which model of CVR did you get, the dual 2-ohm coils or the dual 4-ohm coils? That will tell you which you can do. I will assume you bought a pair. The dual 2's can be wired into a 0.5-ohm load or a 2-ohm load; the dual 4's can be wired into a 1-ohm or a 4-ohm load. The ZX500.1 is rated at 500x1@2-ohms. At a 4-ohm load, it probably puts out 250 watts. If you have the dual 2-ohm coil subs, wire them into a 2-ohm load, and each sub will get 250 watts.
I would have bought the 2-ohm subs, and a ZX750.1 amp.
You can't tell which way it is wired (2-ohm vs. 4-ohm) by listening to it. It sounds the same. The difference is how much power the amp puts out. Most amps put out more power into a 2-ohm load vs. a 4-ohm load.

Why does my amplifier Clip?
[Question]
Well basically Im powering a car 300WATT Rms amplifier inside my house, on the manual it says it consumes 33A, I powered my amplifier by a 18A 12V Computer Powersupply, all worked fine, If i turned the volume up (Didnt used to clip) too much the Powersupply and amp would shut off. So I went out and bought a 750W computer powersupply which gives 60A at 12V, ive hooked it up and im getting thundering bass at high volumes, however if i turn it too high the amplifiers CLIP light blinks, what does this mean?
Thanks. Btw my neighbours are lovin' it alright..
I see where your coming from, but when this amp was in my bro's car (13.8v W/ car engine running) The light used to come on at about the same volume.
Oh yeah btw When the amplifier clips the subwoofer makes a really disgusting, disturbing, distorted like sound.
[All Answers]
The clip light comes on when the battery voltage dips.
you have the gain on the amp set too high
Your gain setting on the amp is too high. It is recommended that you turn the gain 1/2 a rotation down from the point of the distortion.

I'm Putting on a show, But all my lights have just blown, HELP ME PLEASE?
[Question]
i have set up a show for tonight, but in rehursals, all my lights and one of my speekers have just blown, and all tickets have been sold. I dont want to pull off the show, and also, its in 1 hour, any advice will do
[All Answers]
Run to the closest place that sells lights
hook em up!
( everyone has christmas lights laying around!)
hook em up! you can fool anyone!
Im guessing this speaker is a subwoofer? Go buy a replacement, if its costly then tbh just quickly go buy a ok one, and turn the gain down on the amp.
We'll your going to have to quickly go get some new lights..
Compromise with what you have, the show must go on, see if you can call in any replacements and go buy replacements right now
