my car has GPS. i need to know where someones "really" going.

its for personal reasons.. BIG personal reasons.





if anyone can tell me a good tracking device thats not too expensive.

zoombak works. Also you could get a Trackstick. Just get a usb to cigaret lighter converter. but zoomback gives you an approximate location.

kickerzx1000.1 (best choice) then rockford, memphis, alpine, and last orion, i say it in this order because of my experience kicker doesnt over rate there amps ans they got some big fuses for the bigger amps. i got a hifonics bxi 2006d amp and it crushes my cvx15's 2000 rms and it has a 200 amp fuse in it and it never heats up

I wont get into the suggestions of which amp will be better

but i will suggest...when running lower impedance's with an amp

the heat and the current draw is increased 4 times over running a 4 ohm load



if you can supply the power for the amp to operate at a constant 1 ohm load great ...go for it.....but if not ...your wasting your money as the amp will always be shutting down...and over driving the outputs. until the point of destruction ( bye bye $$$$)

btw...My wife's system has Alpine 2- PDX1.1000 in her car running 2 Alpine 12 X series at 4 ohms plus a PDX 4-100 into her mids and tweets

2400RMS watts ......no caps no HO alternator stock battery, Big three up grade very little dimming lights when deep bass hits( her system takes your breath away when the bass hits deep!

you have to get a car harness kit for that specifice vehiicle (dash kit) you can go to best buy or ebay for the kit

ok. so I BOUGHT myself a car with my own money and my father desides he wants to put a chip on it to see every place i go. he said its some chip he can look up on the internet and see everwhere im at. im not sure if he is telling the truth or trying to scare me. im not a bad kid at all and im not a run away or anything, its just he doesnt like my boyfriend and he doesnt want me to see him and he is a great guy im 17 and in 3 months im turning 18. so i dont see why he is doing this. but the questions that i need answered PLEASE :) are:



1: what does this chip look like?

2: can i disconnect it?

3: where is it located at on my car?

4: can i take it off myself?

5: does this chip work even when my car is off?



please i just need some help i think being tracked is weird and i dont even do anything wrong.

he's being protective, and in this day and age, rightfully so. after you turn 18 you can get it taken off without his permission, but until then, it is up to your dad. if you disable it, he could legally take the car, even though you paid for it, as you are under age.

Why don't you work on building trust with your Dad, instead of trying to destroy the trust and make him do even more of these types of things. He sounds like a good dad who is looking out for you. Probably not what you want to hear, but he has a lot more experience with people than you do, why don't you have him explain what he doesn't like about your boyfriend.

First off, if you bought the car AND its registered in your name he has no legal right to do so even if you live under his roof. That is your property. Second unless you are a trouble maker, liar, thief,etc... he is morally and parentally out of bounds. If he wants to know where you will be (in case something happens he has to find you he knows where the police should go etc... whatever) all he should have to do is ask. But the chip depends, if it is a gps unit he can track you anywhere from a website linked to that unit. It usually has several different parts throughout the vehical which can include but not limited to the chip in the pc,fuses,gps signal unit, power supply,converter, tamper switch and more, not just a chip you can plug in. The whole system has to be installed in the vehicle and once installed may and can limit use of the vehicle it tampered with. Google It!!

a compacitor will be bad get a kinetic hc 600 its 10x strong than a compacitor and it will start your car with your factory battery unplugged caompacitors in my opinion are just show and tell for me
