Yes you can change to a cd player...but you will need to get the code for your cassette player if you plan to put it back in later. The code keeps someone from stealing your cassette player and installing it into another vehicle. Don't forget to pick up a wiring harness and antenna adapter with your new cd player.

Well try to find the cheapest source you can, and make your prices lower than any other stereo shops around your area, but don't go "El cheapo on the brands"

And have different sections for different likes and needs, like say if people like rock,r&b,reggae,etc.Have a section for that and what they will need to produce the best of best for them likings only.

But if people like Rap,Hip Hop,and wanna be heard a mile away,then have a section for that as well...lol.

The clock on my 2000 Buick Regal won't turn off.?

A little over a week ago I left my lights on due to me being stupid. My battery died. After getting the battery jumped it died again yesterday. I didn't even think twice about it, it was an old battery and I had just killed it a week before. So I bought a new battery (Duralast, I don't know if that matters). Today I drove about 140 mile drive and when I turned off the car and opened the door the radio didn't turn off. So I just physically turned it off myself but the clock still won't turn off. I don't want to drain the battery by leaving it on the whole time. Anyone know why it won't turn off? Or why the radio won't turn off automatically?

simple fix,

what I do when there is a light on my car that won't turn off is simply put duct tape over it!

you could even use scotch tape but I feel that duct tape would definitely be the tape of choice.

that always seems to do the trick.

Go to the manufacturers website, and from there you can download the most up-to-date maps. Usually, you can't just download random maps and put them on your GPS unless they're specifically made for your model. Otherwise, yes, all you need to do is download the maps and put them on the SD card that came with the GPS.

never heard of those stuff before and looking at the amp kit and the size of the amp doesn't look good. with that amp i think you'll need at least 4 gauge. i would just stick with the brand names one like kicker, mtx, alpine, jl audio, orion, rockford fosgate, and etc...

Hifonics is a popular low end brand. I would never recommend them to any of my friends. Stick with the better stuff - RE Audio, Alpine, JL, Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, and other brands of the like.

Deep cycle batteries work better for high current draw applications (such as a stereo system). When you use them instead of standard car batteries, your system will be able to draw more amps without causing your batteries to die prematurely, protecting your equipment and giving you better performance.

Deep cycles handle the constant drain/charge...drain/charge...associated with high power audio systems and they allow for more mounting options. I have had 4 red top Optimas mounted upside down under my truck for two years with no problems at all.

You may have to remove your rear deck. I found that for my '97 Maxima, I had to remove the rear deck to take out the back speakers.



For instructions on how to do it, I suggest you go to your local auto shop (advance auto, autozone etc.) and buy what's known as the "Haynes Manual" or "Chilton's Manual" for your car. It will show you everything you ever wanted to know about your car.
