Not if you can't even figure out that this is the "Car Audio" section of Yahoo Answers and Power Rangers have absolutely nothing to do with audio OR cars.

i just put in some leds for my brake lights. why do they flicker when the vehicle is completely off?
[Question]
[All Answers]
The following is just a guess and possible solution.
You have a minor short somewhere or something has been wired wrong. The reason you are seeing it now is the lower current it takes to light a led versus lighting a bulb.
Go to radio shack and get a 1 meg ohm resistor and connect it from the hot lead of the led light and the other to ground.
could be an alternator problem.
You most likely have a small amount of current bleeding through the brake light circuit of the vehicle. LED's require very little current to illuminate whereas normal incandescent lights require more current. You may need to use a relay off of the brake switch to isolate the LED's from the brake light circuit while the pedal is not depressed.

How is my system to all you people that know your stuff? lol?
[Question]
i have a 2001 honda accord sedan.
head unit: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_1177...
capacitor: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_1357...
Amp: i have two of these one to each subwoofer
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_1179...
Subwoofer: two of these and they are in two separate ported boxes
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5161...
i have 8 guage wire connecting it all and a distribution block spliting the power up to each amp.
let me know what you think about it and if there are any problems tell me or little things i can do to make it any better. thanks alot.
[All Answers]
they are awesome!
None of the links you provided work. However I can tell you that for 2 amps and a cap you should be using 4awg wire from the battery, then if the amps only require 8awg use a distribution block to divide the 4awg to 2 8awg wires at the amps.
Sounds like you will have a bangin' system, my friend!
what you could do is change from a 8 guage wire to a 4 guage or 1 if it is possible to the positive and negative wires from the battery to the amp it will give you more power or you could use one big amp to run both subs.

subwoofer in a convertible 328i 1997?
[Question]
im trying to get a lot of bass in my car, but dont know how. can someone suggest a good combo of 2 10" subs and an amp? because i dont know how to match them up, ohms and watts. any ideas?
[All Answers]
Two Kickers L7s would do the job. Amp idk whatever you wanna spend.
If you really have small room, you can actually go with L7 8's, because theyre cone surface area is about like having 2 10's. you may also get more out of having 1 12" instead, with more power going to it. Good luck!

depending on how much you want to spend. You can put two rockford fosgate T1 dual 4ohms 10" subs with a T1000 1 rockford fosgate amplifier running the amp to one ohm.

WHAT KIND OF BASS KNOB CAN I GET??????????
[Question]
I just bought a brand new 3 way boss crossover and it didnt come with a bass knob. can i just buy any bass knob for it or do i have to have the same brand. if so, will you please give me a link that shows where i can buy a boss bass knob. anything would help! thank you very much!!!!!!!!!
[All Answers]
It needs to be a Boss subwoofer control. It should have been included with the crossover. Every Boss BX35 3 way crossover comes with one. Contact whoever you bought it from and let them know it was not in the package with the crossover because it's supposed to be. You paid for it in the price of the unit so they owe it to you.

Are these interchangable?
[Question]
I have a Crysler 2001 Sebring. I cannot seem to find a radio that looks exactly like it. The part number is P56038518A1. Some emailed me and told me that have a 2003 Dodge Stratus the part number they gave me is P04858583AF . They look almost alike.Would this work?
[All Answers]
Well, theres a good chance it might, and theres a chance it wont. Try this.
have him take 2 pictures. one, of the fron of the radio, so you can see on the sides the screw hole configuration and see if they line up inside your car. also, have him take one close-up of the socket in the back of the radio. Look at your wiring harness inside your vehicle, and compare the two. count number of pins and location. if they match, it should fit!
If the Stratus is the 2 door model it will be the same mounting and same wiring connector. If it is a 4 door the mounts will still be the same but the connector and antenna jack will be different. You could still use it but would have to buy an antenna adapter and two harnesses to make an adapter plug. One side to plug into the Sebring harness and one side to plug into the Stratus radio.
