Its printed on a card, or on the audio handbook in your owners manual package. If you dont have it, bring your proof of ownership to the dealer.

How to get better radio reception in 2000 eclipse with aftermarket head unit?
[Question]
Im only getting like 3 stations and they all sound like crap..
[All Answers]
Check your antenna connection at the back of the radio. Then follow the wire to the antenna to be sure it's not broken or disconnected somewhere else.

How to remove in dash radio housing?
[Question]
I've just removed my car radio ('01 Corsa) and want to replace the metal cage that houses it, how do I remove it?
[All Answers]
If you look carefully inside the "cage" you will find little tabs that have been pushed in to keep it located. Bend the tabs out with a screwdriver and pull the cage out. If it's hooking somewhere check that you haven't missed any tabs
Theres little "lugs" which are bent behind the dash to hold it securely. using a fine, flat screwdriver bend them out and the cage should simply pull out.
hope this helps
Look towards the rear of the cage and there is a torx 20 screw right in the middle at the rear, remove this then squeeze the front top and bottom together and it will slide out. There are clips on the power and aerial plugs that simply unclip to remove, job done.

I also have sony xplode series on one of my cars, they really produce clear and quality sound if your not really up to that freaky bass.
but that 2x 12" subs will do good, for that , if you want to make it straight sony, you need to buy 2x 6" coaxials for the front and 2x 6x9 for the rear.
now the sony xplode headunit has a built in crossover where it says LPF and HPF and a seperate High and Low form the SUB control.
you just need to set the LPF to 120, and HPF to 0.
why 2x 6" and 2x 6X9?... sony headunits are designed for the Sony Explode Series.. you will notice that it has alot of RCA out on the back. (headunit) because the front channels produces more on highs. and some vocals. and the rear channels produces More voice for the 6X9. (larger cone surface better voice) and supports tha balance of the highs or tweeters on the front. " you will notice that once one of your RCA cables or speakers worns out.
now, AMPS... you need 2 amps. SUBS needs separate amp.
im sorry to tell this but if you want to maximize the Explode Subs potential. you need a different brand of amp. prefereably a mono amp.
but for the Coaxials you need 1 explode amp. i think thats the 300watts amp. it has a good crossover filteration. and i wished that sony made it with a higher wattage.
twell, thats just my opinion about the straight sony thing.. as i said, we installed straight sony before and i also have it on my mini truck. the price is not that much but it pays. =)
