Yes, if spare parts are available.

Yes, if around the dome has ripped. Many places can fix this for you. If the dome has ripped it should have just ripped around the outside of the speaker (around the rim). It would usually make a flat "bloping" sound.



If you have actually blown the magnet and/or the crossover cables and such it may be cheaper just to buy a new speaker as it may be expensive or impossible to fix. I am not 100% sure on this though. If the entire speaker is blown then it would make a nasty sound that is hard to tell what it supposed to be coming out. Like a slight squealing "err" sound. - Andrew

10 or 12 inch subwoofer?...  Ok I listen to mostly rock and alternative, stuff like foo fighters smashing pumpkins rise against nickleback weezer linkin park ect. I also ocassionaly listen to rap. So I'm buying either a 10 or 12 inch jl audio w3v3 and want to no which one will be better. I drive a 98 camry and am only getting 1 sub and running it on a alpine mrp500.

1)   If you put in 12s, you're probably only going to hear the bass, especially of rock music. I would stick with the 10s, 10s are a good balance of bass with most music. - Tina

If you just wanna sound good without getting a headache for a good price, go with a 10, JL hits hard n heavy anyway. NEED HELP WITH RADIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?...  I have a 94 camaro its old and stuff well i got a radio for it and i hooked up the yellow wire and black wire nothing happended so i hooked up the rest of the wires to there right color still nothing happened i have no clue what is wrong or how to do anything i checked the fuses they are ok ...there is one wire that i didnt have blue ...what does this mean somone hlp plzzz

3)   The blue wire is for remote antenna or amp turn-on. Don't worry about it. Get a test light to check for power at red/yell wire w/ign. on. Push source button on radio. It don't turn on, through it at who ever you bought it from....... - tomslik

I have a amp and speaker problem?...  ok i just got this amp and its a fusion 450 and its just hooked up to 2 jbl 8s and every time i turn it up my amp goes out and quits pushing the eights but the other speakers still work my protecting light will come on my amp and the way to get it to work again i have to take the fuse out of the amp and reinstall it does not blow any fuses, also the only way i could get the amp to work is the remote wire is ran in the remote spot and the connected to the power spot with the power wire good groud and wire are ran on seperat sides of the truck....also it has another remote spot that looks like a phone jack plug in and i dont know what to do..

1)   well fusion products are not very well made...they're crap...is it new or used??...it might be a problem with the wiring...does it get really hot?..if it does it might be a problem with the load...are the speakers SVC or DVC?...oh and the phone jack looking thing is actually for a bass knob.. - Dj-King-Cesar

2)   First, make sure you have a good ground spot on the vehicle that is on the bare metal of the frame (clean the metal/use sandpaper etc.). Otherwise, I would check that your speaker connections are correct. - becks

3)   take it to a store that installs car audio and ask them to look at it. it sound like me a wireing problem check all wireing then hook it to only one sub, and see if it will work them the amp might not be working right or you speakers might be to powerfull for the sub that has happened to me before. - Derek

2)   yes! i suggest to get a i-ohm stable amp and two 2-ohm subs and wire them to 1-ohm to get full power of your system - antonio b

3)   Antonio learn about what your talking about, you can not wire two 2 OHM DVC subs to a 1 OHM load, for that you need $ OHM DVC subs. You can wire 1 2 OHM DVC sub to a 1 OHM load.



You can put as many subs as you want on a mono block amp as long as the final OHM load does not exceed the stable OHM load of the amp. - georgewillings
